About The Cottage
Woodstock Cottage, located in the grounds of the owners’ house, is totally self-contained with its own private entrance and garden with views across the surrounding countryside. The cottage has been recently refurbished and provides everything you will need for your stay in this peaceful corner of Devon.
Entering the cottage, there is a small lobby with space to hang coats and keep any shoes and boots. You then enter the dining area, overlooking the garden, with the lower lounge to one side which doubles as a second bedroom with its full sized futon. The lower lounge also has a cosy wood-burning stove, which can be lit when this room is not being used as a bedroom. From the lower lounge doors lead out onto the raised deck, with steps down to your own private garden . The main lounge,with its beamed ceiling, has two settees , large coffee table, TV and DVD/CD player and is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Devon countryside. From the lounge a few stairs lead to the mezzanine and up again to the galleried bedroom above.
